The FY 2021 HUD COC Competition has started! HUD released the NOFA on August 18th. The COC Application, COC Priority Listing and project applications are now available on eSNAPS.

The SCCHAP Grants Committee has met and approved the local application documents for the HUD FY 2021 COC Competition. Those can be accessed by clicking the desired file name on the links below.

Any new applicants wishing to apply for funding, please refer to the HUD NOFA for applicant eligibility and project types allowed for this competition. Please contact Jeremy Reinert at jreinert@unitedwaysaginaw.com if you have any questions.

24 total projects totaling $2,415,613 were submitted for the FY 2021 HUD Competition. 21 renewal projects totaling $2,110,574 were submitted. 2 Domestic Violence Bonus Dollar Projects totaling $243,851 were submitted. 1 CoC Planning Project for $61,178 was submitted.  All projects were accepted and none were rejected/reduced by the CoC.

Scoring and ranking of the projects took place on October 25th, 2021 and applicants were notified of the score and ranking of each of their projects submitted on October 26th, 2021. All renewal projects submitted were placed in Tier 1 because the CoC’s total renewal demand equaled the tier 1 amount set by HUD. The CoC Planning Project and Domestic Violence Bonus Dollar Projects were not ranked per HUD regulations.

Applicants had until 5:00 PM on November 3rd, 2021 to submit a grievance if they felt their application was scored incorrectly and/or unfairly. No grievances were received.
